One of our care professionals, Sarish Javid, joined us with 11 years of experience in the care sector. After completing our two‑week induction programme, Sarish described it as the best and most thorough training they had ever received.
Our induction combines structured learning with extensive hands‑on practical training, covering communication, confidentiality, health and safety, medication, safeguarding, moving and assisting, first aid, and infection prevention, alongside person‑centred approaches to care.

Practical sessions go far beyond demonstrations, giving carers the chance to fully understand equipment such as hoists, stand aids and slide sheets, and how to use them correctly, protecting both the carer and the person being supported.

Training covers essential areas including dementia care, safeguarding, medication, moving and handling, mental capacity, infection prevention, communication, and end‑of‑life care. Practical sessions include specialist equipment, hoists, slings, catheter care, and safe mobility techniques, building real confidence for real‑world care.
